Vanquish is a new Aston Martin featuring the next generation of the renowned VH architecture as well as a significantly upgraded 6.0-litre V12 engine that is considerably more potent than before.

The design represents the latest take on Aston Martin's iconic visual language. Vanquish unquestionably sees the brand continue its enviable tradition of producing some of the most beautiful sports cars in the world.

V12 Zagato

The V12 Zagato is the ultimate sports car of the Vantage range. It is also the latest expression of a successful creative collaboration that has given rise to a series of striking GT cars over the last half-century, the original and most iconic of which being the DB4GT Zagato. Not only does this masterpiece rank amongst the most desirable, collectable and valuable cars in history, its 50th anniversary provided the inspiration for the V12 Zagato.

Though commemorating a great Aston Martin of the past the V12 Zagato could be no mere pastiche of the original. Instead the project was seen as the perfect opportunity to take Aston Martin's ethos of technology and tradition to a new and exciting level. To this end the V12 Zagato combines the modern ideas, materials, processes and technology pioneered on One-77, while remaining true to the purity and craftsmanship of its illustrious forebear.

An award-winning line-up from Jaguar 

Leading this year's display will be the XJ Ultimate. Fresh from its recent world debut in Beijing, XJ Ultimate represents the pinnacle of luxury and innovation with heightened-levels of opulence for rear seat passengers. Enhancements include two individually tailored rear seats trimmed in semi-aniline leather, featuring power adjustment and recline, massage function and climate controls. A rear business table, machined from solid aluminium with piano black trim also powers into position at the touch of a button – complete with bespoke champagne flutes for the contents of the chilled drinks cabinet. 

Bespoke LED lighting, iPads with keyboards, a 15-channel 20-speaker sound system from Meridian, twin headrest mounted screens and wireless headphones complete the XJ Ultimate rear passenger experience. 

Sitting alongside XJ Ultimate will be the stunning XKR-S convertible. Capable of a top speed of 186mph and reaching 60mph in just 4.2 seconds, it is a worthy holder of the Sports Car of the Year title from German motoring magazine Auto Bild. 

Completing the Jaguar line up for Salon Privé 2012 is the discerning XK Special Edition and the new XF Sportbrake – the most versatile derivative of the range. Representing a compelling combination of elegance and capability, both practical and dynamic, the XF Sportbrake extends Jaguar's design leadership in a new direction to create a desirable, premium estate. 

Some exquisite vintage Jaguar models will also join Salon Privé's inaugural 21-mile Tour d'Elégance from The Royal Automobile Club's Woodcote Park in Epsom to Syon House in West London, opening the Super Car Show & Concours d'Elégance on Wednesday 5th September.
