Another Facebook Privacy Blunder: Primary Contact Email Changed

As always Facebook has once again made some privacy changes in User's Accounts without notifying or informing them. All primary E-Mails in User's Contact Info has been forced to @Facebook.com As there was not a single message to users informing them about such changes, it seems another Privacy Blunder from Facebook Team. They have replaced user's contact E-mail from User's Specified to Facebook Internal E-Mail from User's Profile Info.

The primary E-Mail address that you have set for Facebook notifications other Facebook Account related emails is still the same, but the one that is shown on your profile as your Contact E-Mail has been replaced without your permission,

as always. What if I’m not visiting Facebook for a whole month and the only email through which I can be contacted happens to be Facebook’s internal email that I’m not even using?  If you wish to keep this hidden or replace the contact email on your profile with a real email address, follow this quick fix. 

1. Go to your profile and click About.
2. Go down to Contact Info and click on Edit
4. Scroll down to your email addresses
5. Click on the tiny circle next to your Facebook email and set to Hidden from Timeline
6. Click the circle on your other email and set to Shown on Timeline

7. Scroll down and hit the Save button.

Facebook Buying AOL Patents from Microsoft for $550 Million

Just after a couple of week of Instagram Acquisition by Facebook for $1 Billions,a new Deal Comes In. Facebook agreeing to pay $550 Millions for 650 AOL Patents and Patent Applications.
Earlier this month Microsoft sealed a deal with AOL for buying 925 patents and patent applications for pretty cash amount of $1.06 billion.
On April 23, 2012 Microsoft announced that it will retain the 275 AOL Patents Ownership and  retain the license of 650 AOL Patents and Applications that Facebook has agreed to purchase for $550 Million.
Zeus Kerravala, an analyst with ZK Research, says; Reason for being short on 650 AOL Patients is an unclear action from Microsoft but Facebook appears to be Stockpiling to boost their IPO Valuation, that is expected in Spring this year.
Kerravala also added; "Facebook got lots of money. What they need is handsome valuation for their IPO"


"Facebook in February filed for an initial public offering, seeking to raise $5 billion in what could be the largest Internet IPO on record. The company may seek a valuation of $75 billion to $100 billion, people familiar with the matter have said."

In Instagram Acquisition, Facebook BOD was all Out of Picture

According to report in Wall Street Journal; Facebook Inc. CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, on morning of Sunday, April 8, "told, not consulted" the Board about the Acquisition of Instagram  a photo sharing service. 

The most shocking and Hot news is that Mark Zuckerberg, Chief Executive Facebook Inc. did this $1 Billion deal at his Own -- all without his Own Board of Directors and without involvement of any Bankers Instagram "Hot Photo-Sharing App's CEO, Kevin Systrom, ask price for his company was $2 Billions. 

Journal Reported that the negotiations started three days before the Facebook Board was told about the acquisition. Zuckerberg started direct negotiations with Systrom by inviting him to drive down from San Francisco to meet with him at his Palo Alto home.
