How to Change Windows 7 Login Screen
- Click Start Button and in Search Box type "regedit" on press Enter, and then Click Yes.
- Right Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE click Find
- Search for OEMBackground.
- If not found follow the path, and create OEMBackground Entry by Right Click>New >DWORD (32-bit)Value, Rename the new created entry to "OEMBackground"
- "Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Software / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion / Authentication / LogonUI / Background'
- Once you are done with finding/creating the "OMBackground" Entry, Double Click it.
- Change Value Data from 0 to 1 and Close the Registry Editor.
- Open My Computer and follow the path
- Path: Cdrive > Windows > System32 > oobe> info >backgrounds
- if info > backgrounds folders are not found, create these. If already exist, Skip the next three steps.
- Open oobe
- Create NEW FOLDER, Rename it to info
- Open info and Crete New Folder and rename it to backgrounds
- Open the backgrounds folder
- Place the Image you want to Set as your LOGIN SCREEN BACKGROUND
- Rename the Image to "backgroundDefault"
